Short film photo experience

I have been a busy little bee lately, working on projects a little different to my normal work. A good friend of mine, Aaron Moss (of Seventh Continent Productions) is directing a short film – ‘Rays of Sunshine’. He asked if I could take part in shooting stills.

I have never done anything like this before, but you know me well by now, I am TOTALLY up for a challenge. It was a 4 day shoot, a few hours here, a few hours there. Had no idea what to expect and to be honest was a little nervous… I am a very loud and clumsy person and these are things that don’t go well on sets …

The first day was nerve racking, I wanted to do a great job … and I was scared because I didn’t want to get in the way, I also didn’t trust myself to stay quiet during takes haha! I thought I would burst trying not to make any noise during takes – I took it as, DONT BREATH, since breathing is noise hahaha! What a noob! 😉

After a few takes I got the hang of it and by the end of the week I was sad it was over. I met some really lovely people and was excited to be a part of something so creative and seeing all these great people work so hard together to create something special.

I have to say a huge thank you to Seventh Continent Productions for letting me be a part of something as cool as this – keep your eye on this company and the great people involved because they are certainly going places 🙂

I may post photos soon, but I will wait until Seventh Continent are ready to release more … in the meantime check a few behind the scenes stills I did here: (seriously … do it)
