Sarah and Dean, like most of my wonderful clients were so relaxed and amazing to work with from the very beginning. Our first meeting we got along so well, and I just knew their wedding would be one awesome party
The day started beautifully, bridal preparation at the Crown Promenade – a few clouds in the sky, but not enough to worry about. I met the bridal party, who were all great fun to be around. A special moment captured for me was the photo of the flower girl, Leiani, looking up at Sarah’s wedding dress. She doesn’t know, but one day Sarah is going to gift her this wedding dress when it is time for her very own wedding, such a beautiful gesture!
After the bridal prep I got in my car and headed toward the venue, Tawarri Lodge … it also looked as though I was headed directly into a storm! The clouds were thick and grey! Knowing they had a beautiful outdoor wedding planned, I was a little concerned. When I got there Dean was as happy as a man could be! Clouds weren’t going to bother him today. A few drops of rain fell from the sky, and the decision was made to move the wedding under the carport. It is surprising how many people you can squeeze into a small area. The rain was pouring down but everyone just had a good laugh and spirits were high. As Sarah walked down that aisle, the look on Dean’s face was priceless, just when you thought you had seen him at his happiest, his smile just got even bigger. You can see this is a couple that give each other endless laughter and joy, and it is so adorable to see!The ceremony was perfect! and just as it ended, the clouds parted and the most wonderful warm sunlight leaked through the clouds! Just in time for their bridal portraits (of course this made me smile as much as Dean hehe) We headed out for a walk, and honestly it was like a dream how beautiful everything was in the sunlight after all the rain. The lighting was beautiful, a wonderful couple and bridal party and then a gorgeous private beach at sunset! You could not ask for more! It was dreamy!!
The reception topped everything off, with a super fun group of people, dancing and partying the night away!I think when you see the reception photos you will see how much fun this reception really was!!
I have to say a major thank you to Sarah, Dean, their families and their friends for making it such a wonderful wedding to capture! It really was a beautiful day in every way!
